***A cautionary word regarding the use of steam mops on prefinished hardwood flooring....
Many steam mop manufacturers claim that their products are safe for prefinished hardwood floors, even advertising them specifically for hardwood. Please note that most hardwood manufacturers do NOT recommend this method of cleaning for their floors. Rather, they recommend the Bona system.
